Your Hometown Bakery Since 1919
Kruta’s Bakery is now entering the fourth generation of family baking. We opened in 1919 in E. St Louis and 1974 in Collinsville. We still use some of the same recipes that Frank Kruta brought with him from Eastern Europe almost a century ago.
Over the years the trends have changed but our mission is still the same: bake from scratch whenever possible, and use the highest quality ingredients. We also strive to maintain a high standard of customer service. We have many “old” friends who have been coming for decades, following us from our East St. Louis days.
We hope you will come in and enjoy some of our “labors of love”!

THANKSGIVING ORDERS
TIME TO GET YOUR THANKSGIVING GOODIES ORDERED! We are limiting some items for the week of Thanksgiving, so they will now be listed as out of stock. If you want some of these items the week before Thanksgiving please call the bakery to order them.
THE COURTNEY SHOW IS COMING
Put it on your calendar! Courtney and her entourage will be here on August 18th. We have seating, but throw a lawn chair in the car in case we are packed!
Vacation
We will be closed for vacation July 4th through July 10th. we will reopen at 6:00 on Tuesday July 11.
THANKSGIVING HOURS
We will be open 6:00 to 5:00 Tuesday November 22 and 6:00 to 3:00 on Wednesday November 23. We will be closed November 24 through Monday November 28, and reopen Tuesday November 29.
